Description
This is a very early DLV dagger which features solid nickel mounts. The crossguard has a nice patina and very nice enamel black swastikas. The edge of the winged quillon is properly stamped with a “K” on the one side. The nickel scabbard mounts have the same matching patina and the throat of the scabbard is marked with a DLV propeller/swastika symbol. The blade on this dagger is as nice as you will find. It is stone mint with full grain and a needle tip. It has a very nice SMF trademark and the original blue leather washer. Overall this is just a fine piece with a terrific blade, great leather and early nickel mounts.
