Description
This extremely ornate handled Cutlass would probably date somewhere in the mid-1800s, has a hunt scene on the grip, lions for cross guards and huntsmen hunting wild boar. The clamshell has a depiction of a hunter on horseback with a hunting horn chasing a stag. The lower fitting on the scabbard is also that of a hunter with a wild boar. The blade itself is in decent condition considering its age and does not appear to have any maker marks and is plain.
