The blade on this piece is minty and features the large Eickhorn oval maker mark. Retains all of the original burnishing to the engravings on the blade. From my experience this is only the second one I have ever seen. The lower guard is marked with a number 5. The grip has suffered a bit with a large chip missing near the SS runes. It is also missing a smaller chip on the reverse upper right side. The scabbard has a fair amount of lacquer remaining and has yellowed with age. The fittings are nice and have all four screws present. This is such a rare piece the odds of finding another are very, very slim.
