Description
This beautiful Cutlass which borders on the Third Reich period features a gorgeous gold clamshell and cross guard. It has a beautiful light stag grip with 3 acorns and a pined upper fitting which is adorned with oak leaves. It also has a shooting knot affixed. This dagger is a shooting club which was before the Rifle Association dagger came out. The translation basically says “the best rapid fire shot 1936 for the region Saar-Brimstall” which is near France. The blade is in absolutely pristine condition, very, very rare to find a piece like this with a presentation. The burnishing behind the inscription is absolutely flawless. The scabbard and the accompanying hanger are in superb condition.
