Description
This Land Customs dagger is of all aluminum construction. Although some early Eickhorn daggers fittings were made of nickel plated steel, most will be found in cast aluminum. The pommel shows no hits to the rim and it has a good smooth upper surface. The crossguard of this example has the usual open winged Land Customs eagle where the wingtips point slightly upward unlike those seen on Army daggers. The grip of the dagger is constructed of leather over a base of carved wood. The blade is a fine example, having a polished surface where the cross graining runs the entire length of the blade. Overall this is a near mint dagger.
