Description
This beautiful stag gripped deluxe forestry features nicely gilded upper fittings and a cross guard which has the stag head and the hound. The clamshell has a reposing stag embossed on it. The manufacturer is WKC. It is triple engraved and is given to a Ernst Ludwig from Hesse and it is dated 1926. The blade does show some light plating wear towards the tip; however, the piece, being a presentation as it is and early is in extraodinary condition. The scabbard shows no sign of deterioration and with the exception of one staple missing, one cannot fault it for being 90 years old.
