Description
This beautiful stag gripped deluxe forestry features nicely gilded upper fittings and a cross guard which has the stag head and the hound. The clamshell has a reposing stag embossed on it. The manufacturer is WKC and it is triple engraved and given to a Ernst Ludwig from Hesse dated 1926. The blade does show some light plating wear towards the tip, however given the age it is in extraordinary condition. The scabbard shows no sign of deterioration and with the exception of one staple missing, one cannot fault it for being over 90 years old.
