Description
This bayonet looks to be in unissued condition. Has a perfect blade that is fully blued and shows no wear to the edge and tip. Nicely marked at the base of the blade with the maker, date 1944 and number that matches the scabbard. The grip plates are perfect and near the pommel next to the button it is clearly Waffen proofed. The matching scabbard is flawless and has a nice blued finish as well with a nice tight fit to the blade. Hard to improve upon this bayonet and is just a clean fine example of a combat piece.
