Description
Considering the age of this piece the condition is stunning. The bayonet blade is nearly perfect with no corrosion or rust and is marked very nicely at the base with the maker and the spine is marked with a crown and the number 15. The cross guard is marked with the number 47 which matches the scabbard that is marked near the throat. The wooden grips show minimal wear and have a nice light brown tone. The scabbard is nearly perfect, with a nice blued color and also no rust or corrosion. Just a fine example that would be hard to improve upon.
