Description
Beautiful painted jacket which has a 355th Fighter Squadron bulldog with flight helmet to the one side. Above the bulldog shows removed stitching from the original owner that must have had his name tag at one point. The other side shows another painted patch, though very hard to see. On the shoulder is a painted 9th Air Force patch, done with much detail. At the shoulder board area it has painted Lieutenant ranks as well. The reverse of the jacket is the best part with P-51 Mustang flying through the clouds. Interior has the original tag to the collar and is marked with a stamp of “M 3428”. Great look to this jacket and a fine addition to any collection.
