Description
This is an untouched and uncleaned SS dagger which comes with the original vertical hanger. The blade retains all cross grain and the motto is clean, but the bottom part of the motto shows a few scratches which are pictured. The grip is nice and has a beauty of an early heavy nickel eagle. The guards fit nice to the grip and the upper one is group marked. The scabbard has much of the original lacquer still remaining and the ball only shows a slight indent. The hanger is nice, but does show a bit of wear to the reverse side. As stated this has not been cleaned as you can see a bit of brownish coloring to the pommel area as well as to the buckles on the hanger. I will leave up to the buyer if you choose to clean. Overall a nice example.
