Description
This dagger has a nice bright blade showing nearly all cross grain and only light runner marks. The makers mark and motto are dark with original burnishing and the edge of the blade shows no nicks. The grip wood is clean and has a perfect inlaid eagle and SA roundel. The guards are nice and tight to the wood and the upper one is group marked. The scabbard on this piece has nearly 100% of the original anodized finish, but the lacquer on top rates about 80% and shows some lifting and flecking. The fittings are all nickel and the ball at the bottom has a slight dent. Fine example of a seldom seen maker.
