Description
It is given by an Oberst vonEstorff from Captain vonKirchbach. This WWI triple etched presentation piece with grip cipher of the 2nd Guard Regiment of Foot presented to Captain Kirchbach by the Regimental Commander Estorff in remembrance of the Battle of Champagne at Reims. Estorff later became a General in 1918. Very important presentation piece. It also has the distributor’s mark along the upper spine.
