The blade is in mint condition with all original cross graining. Retains original washer and the under part of the crossguard is numbered and marked DRP 1833. The externals are nearly as minty as blade. The ebony grip is perfect as well as the plating. The chain is perfect and has not been sprung. If this was not enough, it still retains what I believe to be the original silver and orange postal knot . Very hard to find a postal dagger in this condition.
