Description
Imperial German Short Pattern Naval Dirk by WKC, Solingen, fine example of a short pattern naval dirk with Imperial crown pommel top. Bone grip with wire binding. Cross guard with fouled anchor to the center. Attached to the grip is an original Imperial naval portepee / knot with red and black fleck in the bullion. Housed in its original brass scabbard with two hanging rings. Polished blade with early WKC knights helmet trade mark and the other side engraved ‘EBERHARD s/l MARIE’. Remains in generally very good condition
