Description
Very interesting and very beautiful Imperial K98 bayonet which features and clean laurel motif engraved panel to each side of the blade. The most interesting part is the dates of the one panel which has a ? at the end as it was given while the war was still going and not knowing when it would end. Seldom you ever see something like this and really makes this piece pretty rare. Fine overall condition and comes with the original black painted scabbard. Shows a bit of plating wear, but still retains the red buffer in the pommel. Just a really nice early piece that you do not see often.
