Description
Absolutely stunning chained SS dagger. The piece has a near perfect blade that retains 100% of the cross grain to the tip and a perfect motto. No maker, which is correct for these daggers. The grip is a beautiful black ebony that has a clean nickel silver inlaid eagle and SS roundel. Guards also nickel silver and show no damage and have a tight fit to the grip. Scabbard fits nice and snug as it should and retains original paint and just a slight ding on the lower ball. Chain is a Type II model and shows a dark patina and fine detail to the skulls and SS runes. On the back of the chain it has the proper SS rune proof stamping to the link. Also has a black leather hanger that would have attached to the belt for carrying included that was found on the dagger. Just a fine example, that would be hard to improve upon.
