Description
This is a very nice early Army dagger that has the tapered tang as opposed to the straight spoke style that is found in later dagger. This piece has a stunning blade that is straight shows all cross grain and a clean maker mark. All the fittings are flawless and have a dark even patina. The scabbard is free of damage and has some of the original lacquer remaining on the upper part. Overall a very clean early piece.
