Description

This sword was presented from Kaiser Wilhelm II daughter Victoria. It is marked from the area of Schaumburg Lippe where she was a Princess. It was given by her to a footmen Prince Von Dulong in October 1908. The blade is quite long and is made by Eickhorn and a band damascus model. Has a barely noticable edge where sombody attempted to sharpen , quite possible period done. Retains 75% original gold on the hilt and the royal cipher on the grip. The individual must have loved the piece as it has honest wear to the ray skin grip. The scabbard is chrome plated and is perfect and the fit is superb.
