Description
This sword is dated 1929 is made by Weyersberg and it has a blue panlel on the spine and trademarked stamp with the knights heads underneath the front langet. The damascus is perfect with no pitting or flaws. The gold is very nice and would rate about 80% and they used the gold as a highlight to the blueing in all the recesses in the engraving. It was given to a Colonel Diermayer for Infantry Regt. 20. The hilt retains most of its gold and has the usual hand enchanced etching with a perfect grip that is wire wrapped. The leather tab is also nicely intact.
