Description

After the Munich Agreement of September 1938, the Third Reich had annexed the German-majority Sudetenland to Germany from Czechoslovakia in October 1938. Following the establishment of the independent Slovak Republic on 14 March 1939, and the German occupation of the Czech rump state the next day, German leader Adolf Hitler established the protectorate on 16 March 1939, issuing a proclamation from Prague Castle.[6] The creation of the protectorate violated the Munich Agreement.

This disc was used in the same way the German warrant disc was used and was carried by Police security in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Made from zinc and still has the original sting small lanyard attached. It shows a number of 1104 and is very detailed to both sides. Comes with a certificate of authenticity from Lothar Hartung who was the author of several reference books including Awards of the Third Reich Catalogue. Extremely rare piece and a must have for high end medal collectors.
