Description
This is an absolutely stunning sword in every way. The piece features a damascus blade with beautiful blue and gold panels in great detail to each side. The sword was an honor prize piece given to and recipient in Artillery Regiment #3 that is on the front panel. The spine of the sword also has the blue and gold design work and is marked Paul A Henkels, Solingen. The grip is clean and the cross guard and pommel show extensive engraving and detail. The pommel has the original owners initials very nicely done and the grip still retains the original leather finger loop. The scabbard is also very clean with minimal wear and fits the sword perfectly. Just a stunning overall piece that displays well.
