Description
Shell is a Q 66, although the last digit is somewhat obscured. The shell is also stamped 759 on the rear flange. As the pictures show, the liner has definitely suffered storage wear. It is very dry. Has all of the original drawstring and fingers, but they are no longer attached to the main body of the liner. The interior shows a lot of original dirt and cobwebs and just has the very end-points of the strap. Exterior paint is nice. The helmet has suffered a bullet hit to the right rear side of the helmet. The decal would rate at about 90%+. There are some dents and dings. The front has a fracture, showing more evidence that this was not a parade helmet. Very nice combat piece.
