Description
Luftwaffe blue-gray canvas officer’s clothing bag (“Bekleidungssack für Offizier”). Has leather shoulder straps and fittings. There is a partial paper identification tag attached by steel wire to the bag which is ink-stamped with a July, 1945 date. Bag show no rips, tears or holes and has excellent blue color. These were much rarer to find than the Heer versions which were in a green color. Nicely marked leather tab and has the makers stamp of “L.B.A.B.” (“Luftwaffe Bekleidungsamt Berlin”) marking also appears on a leather strap indicating the Luftwaffe’s Berlin Clothing Depot.
