Description
This is a WWI M17 helmet that was converted to third reich with chicken wire. It is a size 59 and one can see the outline of wire on the paint. The wire is extremely tight and very well done. Shows some light rust around the perimeter. The helmet is stamped on the left side, but i can not quite make out the letters stamped. Very interesting piece.
