Description
Extremely nice named SS tunic with four button front and open collar with silver twist cord piping. Has French cuffs, scalloped and pleated breast pockets and beautiful pebbled buttons. The red wool armband has been hand applied and the SD sleeve diamond is also hand embroidered. Cuff title is a black band with 7-thread silver borders, also hand applied. The single shoulder board is a six twist aluminum model on black wool backing that has also been applied by hand. The collar tabs show one black blank model to the left and a 3 pip model on the right and both were hand sewn to the collar. The interior is also in fine condition and shows a black silk lining with yellow sleeves. Inside the breast pocket has the name tag marked “SS Untersturmf Ness” and dated Mai 1939. Comes with the matching pants which are piped in white wool down each of the outer seams and have a three button fly which shows one of the buttons missing. Absolutely stunning overall condition on this set. Hard to find any major flaws and a true beauty that would display very nicely!
