Description
Extremely rare piece and one of the most beautiful gorgets one will ever encounter. Very few of these were ever produced and this one is a real stunning example. The gorget has a perfect center eagle insignia and SS rosettes to each upper corner. Fine patina to the entire piece and no damage at all. The back has the original felt that has been regimentally marked in ink next to the center clip. The reverse of the SS rosettes have the proper stepped chain hooks allowing to be adjusted for the wearer. The chain is proper length and finely burnished with extreme detail to the runes and skulls. Absolutely beautiful gorget and definitely one of the nicest examples you will ever see.
