Description
Straight out of the woodwork and directly from a vets son, I just purchased this beauty of a helmet. Exterior shows expected wear and has a very nice SS emblem that rates about 90%. The interior of the helmet has remnants of the original liner that also has a large blood stain to the back section. The stain has directly in the center the original owners initials in ink of “E.B.”. On the rear skirt of the shell it is stamped with a batch number of 2623 and the maker and size is faint but stamped EF66 in the one side. Awesome piece with true battle damage and really has a great look about it.
