Description
This is a very nicely carved wood award or statue commemorating the crew of U-Boat 647. Stands approximately 7.5 inches tall and shows great detail and glass like eyes. On the first and only war patrol U-647 was last heard of on 28 July 1943 and declared missing on 3 August 1943. Nice piece to display with U-Boat collection.
