Description
Eastern front “frozen meat” medal in unissued amazing condition with the original issue bag. These medals were constructed of zinc, and were notorious for being of poor quality with bubbling to the finish. It is maker marked on the ring “18” attributed to the firm Karl Wurster K.G. of Markneukirchen, with the correct corresponding information on the envelope. Common medal to find, but very uncommon to find in this condition. Superb example if you are looking for a mint version of this medal.
