Description
Fine overall condition on this goblet with no damage to the piece and extremely nice patina. The base of the goblet is engraved to Obergefreiter Rudolf Wahn AM 4.1.43. The underside of the goblet is engraved Feinsilber Alpaka Auflage Joh. Wagner & Sohn. Rudolf Wahn was killed in action when his plane crashed west of Poltawa Airfield in 1943. Had an extensive war history winning the goblet, German cross in gold, Iron cross 1st Class, 2nd Class and many others.
