Description
Super rare sword which was worn by a Railway Officer and features a very detailed lionhead pommel with mint green eyes. The gold is present, but shows a bot of wear to the high spots and it is nicely stamped to the top of the cross guard with the rail emblem and the number 40. Blade measures 31.5 inches long and has a bright finish and no nicks or chips to the edge. Grip is clean and is the standard triple wrap version. Scabbard has original black paint and fits the piece perfectly. Very seldom seen model that has never been cleaned and has a beautiful look about it.
