This is a later war helmet with a Normandy pattern cammo , most likely the 6th Paras. The shell has a awesome two toned green color with actual mud welded to the outside as part of the cammo pattern. The interior of the helmet is also in excellent condition with a size 58 liner and the shell being a size 68. The straps are nice, and have a repair to the left side. On the left side of the liner it is showing some staining which appears it may be blood. This helmet originally came from George Peterson in the 1960’s. Overall this is one stunning piece.
