Description
This is an early General Army side cap which features a clean silver eagle and rondel. The red soutache is nicely attached and has mercury gilding. The cap shows some wear, but no abuse and has the proper grommets to each side. Very nice gold piping for the General rank that butts perfectly and runs along the crown. The interior shows the same light wear with some sweat staining and a leather brow sweat band. Overall a fine example.
