Description
Very interesting dagger here which is a double proofed transitional piece from Lauterjung that is very uncommon to find. It also has an engraving to the reverse of the blade that was done by the vet that reads ” Souvenier from the jump over the Rhine March 24 1945″. The blade shows some wear as you can see, but all cross grain is present. The grip is a beauty and has a perfect eagle and SA roundel. Scabbard is also in excellent condition with mint fittings and original paint. The dagger also comes with a near perfect tab hanger.
