Description
This unique NSKK dagger has on the upper fitting of the scabbard a nickel silver NSKK eagle affixed to it. It is beautifully done and has been there forever as you can see the outline on the upper fitting. The paint is original and all of the fittings are in exceptionally fine condition. On the reverse of the upper fitting it is engraved in a Komradeship style engraving used so commonly by the Germans. It has a 4 line dedication. The blade itself, which is just a standard blade, is in excellent condition retaining 98% of its original cross-graining. It has a nice light wood grip whcioh fits perfectly to the upper and lower guards and one would be hard pressed to improve on that.
